What is the Message Duplication/Voice mail Archival Service?
Most voice mail systems only save messages from 7 to 30-40 days. If you have an important message that you don’t want deleted, call us and we can transfer the message from your voice mail onto cassette or cd for you to have as a hardcopy. Customers order these for several reasons. Many of our orders are messages needed for a legal matter, others keepsake messages; (i.e. messages from a child, or a special message from a significant other) or, even messages from a lost loved one.

Can I get more than one copy when I place my order?
Absolutely. We keep copies of all Message Duplications in our studio for a period of 3 months from your original order date. If you need additional copies within this time frame just give us a call @ 1-800-770-8046.

Does the recording include the date and time?
If your voice mail automatically plays the date and time before the message, definitely yes. If your voice mail does not automatically play the date and time, you must request this to have it included in your recording-including the number we would press to hear the date and time play.

When you record my messages, do you delete them from my voice mail?
No we do not erase your messages. They stay as they are on the voice mail system.

Can you record just the outgoing greeting from a voice mail box or an answering machine?
Yes~this would be charged the same as getting one voice mail message recorded-but you must specify this on your order form. We ONLY record outgoing greetings from answering machines, not voice mail messages.

Do I need to give you my password for you to retrieve my messages for me?
Yes, but if you are concerned about giving out your regular password, you can change it temporarily while we retrieve your messages, and then change it back to your regular password after your Message Duplication is completed. If you only need your outgoing greeting duplicated, then we do not need your password. Please be assured that we are under very strict privacy guidelines, and your password is safe with us.

If I order an MP3 of my messages, are the messages separated?
No, if you order an MP3 of your messages, they are sent as one single file. We only send up to 10 MB/or 10 minute files. (Whichever comes first). However, you can now order your messages separated for an additional fee per message.

Can I have my MP3 order sent to a business email address or a school email address?
Yes, however due to internet firewalls and spam filters these days we ask that you also supply us with a second email address to avoid your MP3 from being returned to us, or not being delivered to you. Also, please be sure to include sales@cbwproductions.com to your accepted email list.

How long will it take to receive my Message Duplication to get to me on CD or cassette?
All Message Duplications are sent out via First Class Postal Mail with Delivery Confirmation. It generally takes 5-10 business days (depending on where you are located). We offer Priority Mail, Express Mail delivery options for an additional fee if needed. Back To Top

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Debit Cards, and Pay pal payments. Sorry, we do not accept personal or business checks.

Can I get a written transcript of my messages?
Yes, we do offer transcription service that includes Notary Service.

How long does the ordering process generally take?
Once you place your order, recordings are completed within 5 business days. (Monday through Friday-We do not record on weekends.)

My messages are about to expire today, can you record them right away?
Yes, if you place a rush order (for an additional fee), however, your order must be placed by 2pm EST to have it recorded that same day. If it is placed after 2pm, yours will be next in line to be recorded the following business day.
Orders are recorded in the order they are received. We are not responsible for lost messages off your voicemail. If you need to extend the time the messages stay on your voicemail to allow time for us to record them for you, you may want to ask your voice mail service company if there is a way for you to forward the message back to your own voice mail to hold onto them for longer.

I was told by my voice mail service representative that you are the ones that delete messages from my voice mail, is this true?
Absolutely not! We are not a voice mail company, and do not have backdoor access to any voice mail systems, nor do we sell voice mail systems. We are simply a recording studio.

My voice mail service representative told me that you can retreive deleted messages, or messages that have dropped off the system on their own, is this true?
Again, absolutely not! We have no way to retreive deleted messages. If you cannot call in and hear the messages yourself, we cannot call in and record them for you. Once the messages are off the system, no one can retrieve them for you, they are gone permanently.

What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of our business, we do not accept returns. Same as buying a compact disc or computer software from the store. There is no way for us to know if the cd had been copied or not. We also have to pay our recording engineers for their time. If there is a problem with your order, please call us directly so we may resolve it for you at 1-800-770-8046.

VOICE MAIL GREETINGS FAQ’S

I don’t have voice mail, can I still get a professional greeting?
You must have some type of voice mail, independent voice mail System, pager, cell phone…etc. in place and in working order first before we can provide you with a professionally recorded greeting. Greetings are downloaded directly from our studios to your voicemail. It is your responsibility to inform us of the exact instructions on how to dial in from our studios and place the greeting on your line.

Can you download a greeting onto my answering machine?
Sorry, we do not provide professional greetings for answering machines, only voice mail through the phone line.

Do I get unlimited greetings for the initial cost?
Sorry, our prices are per greeting. If you need additional greetings, just call or email us. If you already know that you will need several greetings in the near future, let us know and we will work with you on a fair price.

Your professionally recorded greeting can say anything you would like. Simply follow the online ordering process, and we will record it for you.

How long will it take to have my greeting completed?
The quickest way to have your greeting completed is to pay by credit card, debit, or paypal. We do require advance payment for our services. If paying by credit or debit, we can usually have your greeting downloaded onto your voicemail service within 5 business days-(Monday through Friday) this excludes weekends.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints we are unable to play your recorded message for you before it is placed onto your line. There are a few voice over samples on the site for you to choose a male or female voice. You do have 24 hours to contact us if there are any issues with your recording

What if I need to change my greeting?
Simple, just call us at 1-800-770-8046 during regular business hours (or place another online order with your new script) and we will be pleased to assist you. If you are calling after regular business hours, you are welcome to leave us a message, and we will call you back as soon as possible.

How long can my greeting be?
Different voice mail systems have different time constraints. (Usually 20-45 seconds per greeting)Since we do not have access to every phone system/voice mail system’s specs, it is up to you to check with your telephone equipment installer, or manual to determine your maximum greeting length.

If I want the same greeting on several lines, is it the same price per line, or do you offer a discount?
If (at the same time) you order 1 greeting for the first line, and you have to place the same greeting on several lines because your phone lines don’t roll over to one another, there is a discounted rate per additional line. (Must be ordered on the same day and via telephone only 1-800-770-8046 at this time.)

I am going away on vacation, and I need to temporarily change my greeting. Is there a charge to turn it back on when I return?
We offer vacation and Holiday greetings which include 2 greetings for a discounted rate; (your temporary vacation or holiday greeting, and your return greeting). Your regular greeting will be re-recorded, and re-downloaded onto your voice mail on the date you specify (excluding holidays-order this also online, or call 1-800-770-8046).

Do you offer special Holiday Greetings?
Around the Holidays, we can provide you with a festive greeting along with Holiday music in the background. After the holidays, (about January 2nd) we will re-record and place your regular greeting back onto your line.

Sorry, no. Each greeting is re-recorded. We do not save voicemail greetings as we are constantly updating our studio to provide you with the highest quality recordings possible.
